(no subject)
1. Just got back from my classes, spring break is officially over. :( Not that I really did much with my break except go to the Art Institute. And eat at their all organic restaurant. That was fun. Although home made organic ketchup is nothing like the store bought kind. Woe.
2. LJ still isn't sending me my comment notifications. :( Ug, please fix this soon guys!
3. One of the Borders by my house is closing and so they're having a giant sale. I went over the weekend and came out with this book:
I don't buy books often so it was hard for me to choose what to buy. This one isn't at my library and I've heard good things about it so it's currently sitting on my bookshelf. :) I hope I like it. It's always a letdown when you buy a book and it sucks, which is really why I don't buy more of them.
I fiddled with the book all afternoon, I love brand new shiny books. :)
I was hoping to get a dvd of Community season 1 or Doctor Who season 5, but unfortunately Borders didn't have them. :(
4. I have so many papers to write from now until the end of the semester. :/ At least five. Ug, I'm not good at writing non-fiction.
5. I registered for a summer class: psychical geology. I need another science credit and it seems less time consuming to take it over the summer than it would be to take it in the fall. For one thing this is a blended class, which means I only have to go in to campus for lab for four hours every Wednesday and do the rest of the work online. On the one hand ug four straight hours of science during my summer, but on the other, it's less than it would be in the fall. And the class is only eight weeks to the fall semester's sixteen.
I'll be finished with my general education classes after I take this one in the summer and four more classes in the fall, so I'm excited for that.
