Here's the deal. I'm looking for a ridiculously complicated, perhaps medical, hopefully terrifying synonym for writer's block. Humor is the ultimate desired goal, but any sufficiently complicated phrase is funny in my book.

Going the medical route, I came up with 'noncongenital museopathy'. An amazing person in another community suggested 'idiopathic atrophographism', which is awesome, isn't it? Can you come up with more beautiful ways of saying writer's block?

Do you have any opinions or complaints about the ones I've already collected?

So far, this list looks like this:

-noncongenital museopathy
-idiopathic atrophographism
-temporary (though terrifying) cessation of creative potency
-calamostenosis
-haesitatio poetica
-left-cortical lesions of the association center
-hypographia
-frontotemporal cessation
-scriptor clausus
-a series of spontaneous and persistent grapho-specific aphasic episodes
-acquired idiopathic museopathy
