Jamie's suggestion of calling Professor Xavier to talk to him about the recent developments she had experienced was a good one. Marie had needed some time to sort out her thoughts on everything, but she was ready to talk to him now and see if he might have some thoughts or advice. She dialed the number and waited for him to answer.

Marie was pacing anxiously. After a handwavy phone call, she was waiting for Peter to come to her room so they could switch powers back.

Marie stretched out and snuggled closer to Jamie. They had stayed up far too late putting Willow's gift to good use, but now she was thinking about what had happened at cheerleading practice yesterday and wondering if she should call Professor Xavier.

Marie had a moment of fleeting panic when she woke up and realized that she and Jamie were touching skin to skin.

But then she remembered the events of the previous day and smiled, closing her eyes and snuggling closer.

Marie was packing for the cheerleading competition when her phone rang.

Marie was waiting for Cameron outside the building that housed the flight simulators. She checked her watch. She was pretty sure he had *handwavy* said to meet him here at two and it was now almost twenty after.

She sat on the step and picked a nearby daisy, which she started idly plucking the petals off of as she waited.

Marie woke up early and decided to take a walk up to the dorms to check her mail and get some more clean clothes.

She found a letter from Leigh waiting.

It took a minute for Marie to remember where she was when she woke up. She stretched and looked around the room with a small smile. She had spent most of the previous evening unpacking, arranging her belongings and hanging her map above her bed, but the room definitely had a homey feel to it ( Read more... )
