Yes, she had made her decision and would be finishing her high school years at Xavier's School for the Gifted and becoming and X-Man. Or X-Woman. She wondered idly if it would be worth it to fight the gender inequality in the team name

Summer decided she wanted to visit her friend for a bit before she left, so she gently knocked on the door.

"It's open," Rogue called.

Summer opened the door and wandered in. "Hey."

"Hey," Rogue smiled up from the duffle bag she was cramming full of gloves and scarves.

Willow came in, looking fretty. "I have no idea what to say! I'm all 'Wah, sadness!' because you're leaving though on the other hand I feel like I should be 'Yay, go you!' supportive since you're going to try to learn how to control your powers. Maybe I'm wahyay?"

Rogue smiled and shook her head. "I'm going to miss you so much, Will," she said. "You'll always be my favorite roommate."

"Darn tootin'," Willows said. "Nobody could ever replace you. Other than the folks in charge of housing and then we're talking administratively and not so much about hearts."

Rogue put down the stack of blankets in her arms and went over to hug Willow. "There is no way anyone could replace you," she agreed. "Everything I went through with my powers, you always supported me. I was ready to move out so I wouldn't hurt you and you wouldn't let me. I'll never forget that."

Sometime in the afternoon, Bridge knocks softly on the doorframe and pokes his head in.

"Hey," he says quietly.

"Hey," Rogue replies. "Come on in."

"So, you're leaving," and that'd be Bridge looking down at his feet unhappily, scuffing at the carpet with the toe of one boot.

"Yeah, I am," Rogue nods, also looking down. She knew that missing her friends was going to be the hardest part about leaving, but she realizes that saying goodbye also sucks.

Bel heard that Marie was leaving and headed down the hall to her room and knocked on the door.

"It's open," she called.

Bel stepped into the room. "Hey, kid," he said. "Heard you're leaving."

"Yep," Rogue said, giving him a wry smile. "Gonna go be a superhero. Well, a superhero in training."
