Yes, she had made her decision and would be finishing her high school years at Xavier's School for the Gifted and becoming and X-Man. Or X-Woman. She wondered idly if it would be worth it to fight the gender inequality in the team name

Summer decided she wanted to visit her friend for a bit before she left, so she gently knocked on the door.

"It's open," Rogue called.

Summer opened the door and wandered in. "Hey."

"Hey," Rogue smiled up from the duffle bag she was cramming full of gloves and scarves.

"So you're really leaving, huh?" Summer asked, glancing at the bag.

"Yeah, I really am," Rogue replied. "They need me up there to help protect people. There are a lot of people here who can do that."

"Well, that's cool. I'm sure you'll be great at the whole protecting thing," Summer said. "I'll miss you, though."

"I won't be that far away," Rogue said. "You can call or email or visit any time."

[snarkyprincess]

"Well, I will totally do that," Summer said, nodding. "And you better keep in touch, too."

"Of course I will," Rogue promised. "Are you going to keep the sorority going without me?"

"I don't know yet. I guess if there is enough interest, I will," Summer replied. "It won't be the same without you, though."

"I'll miss you guys," Rogue said. "We had a lot of fun."

"Yeah we did," Summer agreed. "Maybe, if I keep it going, we can finally get around to fixing up the nature trails in the Preserve."

Rogue frowned. "I dunno if that's such a good idea now. What if there ends up being another psycho killer out there?"

"You have a point there," Summer agreed, shuddering.

Rogue walked over and hugged Summer. "You take care of yourself, okay?"
