The problem with people waiting until the absolute last second to merge onto a highway or exit from it has reached epidemic proportions. You should see it. It's always selfish pricks in their SUVs or big honking pickup trucks who drive right up to the merge point or the exit at top speed, and then force their way in front of a bunch of people who planned ahead and got in line.

Last night I had enough. Cristina and I were coming back from the Magnolia (saw Paper Heart, more on that later) and we got on I-30 to go through downtown Dallas on our way back to Fort Worth. Naturally there was a stackup where the on-ramp merges with the highway, and naturally there were idiots in SUVs and pickups trying to cut in line. So once I got up to the merge point, I slid over to the right so that my car was blocking them all off. Get in line, jerkfaces!

I would do this more often but people carry guns here.
