just saying hi
Just a little note to say "Hi" and for those who are interested; YES I am still alive. The roving herds of cattle in Wisconsin haven't devoured me or anything. WI sucks for the most part there are just things here that annoy me. Such as: 1) No alcohol can be sold in stores after 9pm (what the fuck?!) 2) Why does it always smell like cow poo whenever you go more than 10 miles outside of Madison? 3)I just miss my family and my friends (you guys!) and I feel lonely sometimes cuz I just can't relate to most of my co-workers and even less to Chris's. 4)In MI when I wanted to get something I always knew just where to go but there is no Meijer here or many of the other stores I like. Right now I'm on a quest for a puppy and I can't find anything but overpriced breeders (I love dogs but my god I refuse to pay $650-$1200 for one!) I guess I'm just home sick really. I'll be back in MI in the beginning of Oct. if anyone wants to get back together.
Things with Chris have been going OK. We've had our ups and downs but mostly ups and in betweens.. I think we've only had one major messy fight since I came here. Granted I was ready to pack up everything and go that time, but he convinced me to stay. We moved, I think I mentioned that a long time ago? THe apt. is really nice if anyone wants to come for a visit (hint, hint) And we've been looking at some new furniture and stuff (wow is that stuff ever expensive!) But aside from the home sickness I'm doing alright. WOrk has been going well, my first batch of babies just moved up into the 1 year old room *holds back a sniffle* I can't believe how big they've gotten. I want a baby, but right now I'm willing to settle for a puppy lol
