I can't beat up Jill's boyfriend.

And no I don't want to know because there are a lot of people that think that and it isn't true so what is the point in knowing.

Everyone knows it's not true, Bracer, it's a matter of who thinks it is and you know it.

Well Rosalind Bletchley thinks it's true and no one cares.

I mean, totally your right to do so, but I just don't get the logic.

No. I didn't want to know that about Flip. Because I don't want to think that about Jill.

I'm not saying Jill's like that necessarily. No one is.

Well. I don't really know. But it's a terrible thing to realise about people and I don't want to know.

You're happier when bad things don't happen to you, right? And bad things aren't going to stop happening to you just because you don't want them to happen.

So if you know where they are and can avoid them, hey, that's all I'm saying. It's like knowing about the trick steps. It makes your day better to not get stuck.

Well. I guess that is true. But I don't like being paranoid about everyone, either. That just makes my day even worse.

I'm not paranoid about everyone. Just the trick steps. Paranoia's bad, but too much trustworthiness can be just as bad. Happy medium's best.
