So, instead of ending For Better or For Worse, which was really long past its heyday, Lynn Johnston started doing new strips in the style of the earliest FBoFW following Elly's adventures raising Michael and an infant Elizabeth. Okay. Could be good, I guess?
Except, in light of Johnston's husband (the model for John in the strip) leaving her for one of his coworkers, she seems to be using the strip to work out her issues with him. Vide:

I mean, I wouldn't want FBoFW to continue on as syrupy as it got during its final years, but this opposite extreme is a little unsettling.
