My Valentine's Day...
This entry is mostly for Kristin because I haven't gotten a chance to talk to you yet about Valentine's day... lol. It's for me to recount a really good day too though. :-)
Mal came over when I got out of classes. He brought me a bouquet of flowers in a vase and a box of chocolates with a card and an Elvis box set thing because he knows how much of a geek I am. Haha. It was really sweet. I decorated a shoe box for him and gave him a little box of chocolates with a teddy bear, a card that played a song that sang 'Turn Me On', a bunch of other candy, and some coupons for different things and the last one was for 'All my love, offer valid for a lifetime'. Super corny I know, but that's how I roll. Haha. The real gift I made for him was this video of pictures of us and other things that remind me of him and it started with the story of how we met. I titled it 'This is the Story of a Really Cute Couple' and I was sooo excited about it, but then my computer crashed, Mal had to reformat it, and I lost the video. I was devastated, it took a months worth of my free time to get it the way I wanted. He was understanding about it, but I'm still upset about losing it. Anyway, next we went to the mall and got some quick food, and did a bit of browsing. After that we went to see 27 Dresses, which I had been begging him to see for weeks. It was so cute. After that he bought me ice cream and we came back to my dorm for some quality time. After that he surprised me with reservations to Andinos, I was so excited because he told me that they were completely full and I had mentioned wanting to go back there for a while. The food was good and we got heart shaped chocolate covered gelato for dessert. Then we headed back to his place where he had honey wheat bread and peanutbutter for breakfast the next morning. He tried so hard and it was pretty wonderful.
Things with Mal are incredible right now, and I'm really hesitant to say that. I don't want to jinx it, but things finally feel okay again. They actually feel better than they ever have before. He says that February is bitch month for him and he's not gonna keep sucking up to me, but I really think he was just kidding. He has just been so good to me, and I think that us breaking up and how hard it was for me to restart the relationship really made him realize a lot and it seems like he just actually appreciates me this time around. I'm really happy.
I started my field placement today. It went pretty well, I sat in on an intake with this guy Ryan who's really cool. Intakes aren't that intimidating, or at least this one wasn't. I heard some horror stories about certain clients today, which was interesting. My supervisor was out sick though, so the other people in the department weren't really sure about what to have me do, so I spent a lot of time bored. Lol. I really like the people who work at Goodwill though, so I'm really happy about that.
All in all things are pretty good right now. I hate that it makes me like wait for the thing that goes wrong. Oh well. I'm going to Disney in May and I'm really excited about that. I'm going with Mal, Zach, and Jill. It should be fun so I can't really wait. Especially since I'll be 21 by then, not that I really drink any more, but still. Yay. Haha.
