The Christmas Hangover

Dec 26, 2009 10:52

To much stuff and food, still not enough family/friending.  I got's swag!!  A beautiful small pile that's just right. I think I'll write out Christmas thank you's before I begin to yammer about my gifts.  I can feel the cookies that I ate trying to cause me greife.. perhaps a little hair of the dog will settle them down COOKIES  FOR BREAKFAST!!!

Lots of food was made and eaten. I must say that when it comes to cookies and baking of individually portioned sweeties my best one was the Smores Bars... I'm thinking that I should stick to bar things.  Perhaps create a cook book of Bar "cookies" sell it to a publisher and obviously get loaded (in the pockets((with all the money they'd be giving me)) and have to wear belts).

Kicked it with the Johnsons, my second family, and thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

I will have to brag about Babes in Toyland!!  I got that on DVD and now am pretty sure that I have fulfilled my CHILDHOOD movie collection on DVD (you know, just in time for them all the get rereleased onto blue ray)...

THE LIST
Babes in Toyland ..... Check
Mary Poppins .... Check
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang ....  Check

Willy Wonka and the Choclate Factory  .... ....  .... Ummm ... perhaps not, I'll have to look through my movies to see.

Ah sweet love of mine...

In a completely different, sort of weird note My cousin got engaged on Christmas.  Jessica is the oldest of the cousins, six months before me, and I still think it's weird. Apparently she's been dateing the guy since some time in her undergraduate years (it's been a while). But even so....

What if she wants a small wedding and doesn't invite extended family... what am I talking about, She's not the small wedding type...

Perhaps I'll play some some Assassins creed II and not think about it..

holiday, gifts, friends, childish, movie, family, food, marriage, life
