Flounder
Had a good time out tonight with Jason and his work buddies. Hit up a teppan restaurant for his birthday dinner. It was a tastey place and reasonably priced. Got two items, calamari and steak, plus all those things that it comes with.. salad, soup, rice, vegetables. Took half of it home for lunch or dinner tomorrow. Very interesting to see a whole nother world that Jason exists in . Everyone there was from Edison. But they were also some of the people that he bikes with, there were tales of talent shows, and tales of spray paint. Part of me was just happy for him, that he's got what seems like pretty good friends at his work place. I laughed in my head when talking to one of the girls there, this was before getting to the Teppan place, when we were still waiting on the possibility of getting a table at the Boiling Crab. (don't ever go there with a big party. hellish. They won't seat you unless everyone is there.) I asked the girl, "So you guys are all Jasons co-workers?" and her responce to me as a slightly scathing look coupled with, "AND his friends." Which was when I laughed in my brain. Yes, I made that connection when you all came out to the restaurant, I should have been clearer. I just wanted to know if you all worked together.
Man.. I just got really sleepy.... I still want to do more homework.
I can hear birds outside. It's very nice.
I cracked the window open out here because it's really warm in this room. The other room is much cooler, but there's still a possibility that the night bee is out there, so right now I'm happier with it closed.
Yup.. tired. Started thinking about how the Night Bee sounds like something that Harry Potter should have run into in that one boook where he ends up on the Night Bus. See the similarily. I do. I guess that's obvious as I;m the ne who brought it up in the first place.
I'm tyoeing with my eyes closed. maybe if I let them rest a bit, I cn keeo working on my papers. I realy just wnated to be done with at least a large chunk of this thing so that I could sleep in tomorrow, but that may not be happening.. you knwo with the sleep typeing and all. I mean it's fun for Live joirnal but not apprioate for a school paper. It's sad almost that I'mv still not good enough at yopeing to actually do it with my eyes closed. I don't think it's to bad, but once I take my fingers off those keys with the bumps in them, I end up making silly mistakes.
I bet you those bumps have a special name. A word specitically used to refer to the little bumps on the F and J keys of keyboards.
Sad that this post went south so quickly.. Why does south get such a bad wrap? What is is about the word South that it can be used with such a negative connotation?
