I fucking hate that Chase commercial where this girl is trying on a wedding dress and her father is there watching and smiling and then you see all the things that they did together when she was like 10 years old and then you see her at her wedding dancing with her husband and her father is still there smiling for her and then she goes up and hugs ( Read more... )

I HATE THAT COMMERCIAL. it makes me get so emotional. I was sitting with my friend and it came on and we both started tearing up..

i agree. about the commercial. and the suburbs. and the caring and the buildings and the people. Maybe because we grew up together, in this neighborhood, with these parents...in our tiny little apartments. im relieved, sometimes, to read things like this, after spending the past 6 years of my life in an upperwest side school where kids can go to the country every weekend, with their nuclear familles and their fake tragedies, and never even see what they have.
