Brendon and Ryan were sitting in Jon's apartment when they heard the squeal of tires from outside. Jon and Spencer had been across the street, getting a pizza.

They ran outside.

Both their hearts skipped a beat when they saw the aftermath of what had happened.

( Jon and Spencer both lay on the ground, battered and covered in blood. Spencer's neck lay at too wrong of an angle and neither looked to be breathing. )
