Since I first heard the rumors of a new Star Trek movie, I had heard that Zach Quinto has wanted to be Spock in the rumored movie.
This year at San Diego ComicCon the world found out that Zach Quinto had been cast as Spock in the new Star Trek movie.
At David Hewlett's blog he says Damnit Jim, it's true! And I'll make no "Bones" about it! McKay would be the perfect Mccoy in the new J.J. Abrams Star Trek movie...and it works perfectly with the Stargate Atlantis season which stops shooting in October...as far as I'm concerned it's a no-brainer...now I'm just going to hold my breath, sit by the phone and wait for it to ring! Hello, J.J?

Part of me that really hopes David gets the part of McCoy, and part of me doesn't.
Why you may ask?
I would SPONTANEOUSLY COMBUST from the combined hotness of Zach Quinto and David Hewlett on-screen together in the same thing at the same time.
Now all that's left is to find out who wants to play Kirk. (and wait for me to spontaneously combust)
