Oversharing

A habit of mine that I've become acutely aware of in recent years is my propensity to overshare. Whether it's a phone conversation, or email, or here on this blog, if left unchecked, I have this tendency to ramble on and on and talk about every and any little detail about my life. Stuff that no one else reveals about themselves, not because you guys are secretive, but because NO ONE ELSE CARES. Maybe a couple of you have been on the receiving end of epic emails from me. But I'm really not that interesting, definitely not interesting enough to justify such wordiness (I almost said 'loquaciousness,' but I remember how I once mentioned I hate blogs that sound as if a thesaurus was used). I guess even this post can be considered oversharing.

Maybe I'm just conversation-starved.
