if it's any consolation, one of my exes, karen, had a shunt and a heart that was about 50% capacity (congential birth defect) and she was, quite frankly, a spit-fire. Then she got a pacemaker and became even moreso.
So, that part, while not exactly optimal, isn't as bad as it may sound. As for the reasons and the lifestyle change...That's going to be a lot of hard work. So...still...Good luck.
