help please!
Ok I am avidly seeking recomendations so if you don't have a suggestion please ask friends to wrack thier brains for childhood memories and then post something. Anything. I volunteered to be the room mom for both girls holiday parties. I will split the time equally between classes utilizing other parent volunteers and a well layed party plan. I will bring the treats, game/activities, and take home goody. I did this last year for ViVi and the teacher had the same game plan as this years teacher. $5 is collected from each kid and split between two parties.
My problem is that it seems that thier is no party money coming form the kindergarten class.
Sydney Li has attended ViVi's parties and knows how well I can stretch a buck. She expects me to amaze and enetertain her class just as well. I figure I can buy this bean bag toss game from Oriental Trading to use in both class parties. Then I can download some coloring pages and the teacher can make enough copies for the whole class. I don't mind spending my own money on the class treat and drinks. I mean if I wasn't able to volunteer I would have sent something along anyway.
So what I need now is a game. Games are free and need no supplies. Can be don with another parent if I have to go to ViVi's class and can make or break a party. It can't have any reading or writing sine they can't do either. I was trying to remember games though. I remember "Who stole the cookie from the cookie Jar?" and "Heads Up 7up!" but they play those games on Fridays. I was thinking maybe I could do a picture Bingo game if I made it myself. Anybody got anything better? Please? I am really trying to stretch here. Post anything. I will take any suggestions!
