I'll do better next time . . .

The kids have gone back I have just been too lazy to post anything. I had the hardest time leaving Thomas at school even though it was the same room, same teacher and same kids! (Every kid from last year requested Miss Mary again!) I asked him who he played with he said "I play with Taylor. She's a girl. And shes cute," real matter of fact like. But as of Monday the house is completely silent. Yesterday? I took a nap. Seriously! Syndey Li is dwarfed by her classmates and I feel nervous just watching her walk into class. Viv had the birthday party Sunday and it went . . . well its hard to describe. I invited all 10 kids from her class and her three best frineds who of course are all in the other class, plus her cousin. Thankfully only 10 kids showed up. There were 4 kids who had the time of thier life and said it was the best party ever. ViVi falls in there so thats all I could really ask for. Four kids had fun most of the time but thought one or two games were boring. And two girls cried. They said later thought " Maybe this party wasn't so bad after all!" With real shock in thier voice! I really tried to make a party that ViVi would enjoy but without really taking in other kids enjoyment of things like puzzels and word searches I guess I set my self up for it. School rule says you must invite everyone of your gender if you want to hand out invites in class. But they didn't say which class . . .next year I handout invites in her gifted class! I'll put in more details later when I am less busy. Erica advised me to lonly post the good memories since I will probably forget everything and have to reread this to see how it went. I bet she's right . . .
