Shower Help

Sep 28, 2004 13:43

I shouldn't put this here. People who will be attending this shower read my LJ and its no fun knowing all the games in advance. But I am stuck and Er told me I should post like it was the most logical thing in the world. I will not be detailing the games but if you have a clue thats good enough.

1)Hello My Name is

2) Ducks in the Tub

3) White Elephant gifts exchange

4) Door Prize Idea *

5) Name the Nursery Rhyme *

6) Baby Shower BINGO *

7) The Seventh Gift *

8) Surprise Prize *

9) Midnight changes

10)Parts of a baby *

Now these are the games I have planned so far. You may notice that only
six of them have stars indicating prizes. This doesn't make for a very
good "White Elephant" exchange. The "Hello" game isn't really a game as much
as an on going ice breaker. The same goes for "ducks in a tub" and "White
Elephant" because you don't really do it as a group so much as individually
when choosen randomly throughout the party. Three are paper and pen games. That can be a snooze if overdone. But I have to skip the real ACTIVE games because of space limitations and age variations. Plus the "door prize" isn't really a game just a way to get people to fill out there own damn thank you cards. "Baby Shower Bingo" and the "Seventh gift" get played DURING the present opening so it doesn't
really take up any time all by themselves. Really four to six games seems
acceptable and I would like to have a few more prizes. This will be a large shower but only last about four hours. If you think of anything fun to do at the shower I am all ears.

Ps> You wouldn't realize without knowing the details on these games but so
far all the supplies I need are paper, pen, a baby bath tub and a package of
diapers. Do I know how to live on a budget or what?

kiki, holidays
