As it seems I completely underestimated Dustin's dislike for Christmas. About an hour ago he woke up and called me while I was still minding some business with my dad about presents. He told me he was pissed at what I've done and he'll explain once I'd be back home.

So I drove home and listened to him raging about Christmas.
