The Exictement Builds
So it's offical! After 21 years of walking this piece of rock, I finally get to experience the ocean in living color. Personally I can't wait. It should be rather fanastic. Thanks to Michelle for making it possible. I get paid friday, and though my paycheck is missing a week from my field trip to the hospital, I'm going to take a few dollars with me for dinner and to get something for my sissy. So far, I've gotten her something from Chicago and Canada. Everytime we go somewhere now, I get her a snowglobe. I think it's a neat lil thing and hopefully someday I'll be able to take her to those places to see in person. I really want to take her to Chicago before the summer is over. Hopefully once the money issue is fixed.
Soo, my silly lame ass has a new obession. The new tv show Rock Star:INXS. I freaking love it. There are four people on there that when they perform I can't look away. Jordis, Heather, Mig and Daphna. Its amazing. I think it's going to come down to them to win it. I seriously think everyone needs to watch this show! Like now. HAH..Its on tonight again..I'm stoked.
Speaking of tonight, Nicolettes coming over to workout when I get off and then I'm going to cook dinner. Hopefully I don't burn it again. I'm going to try baking the pork chops this time. Last time I fried them...yeah. Not so good. They can out blacker then midnight:( Way to go me. My mom's a chief..you'd think I'd be better cook! But I'm learning. I can bake chicken like no one's business! HAH.
Speaking of my mom, she called last night around 10pm. And the surprising part, she was sober. This is a hugh surprise. She was drinking a lot when she had that job and now that she's quit, she's slowed down alittle. So I guess that's a lil better. She is job searching so that's good as well. I'm going to look on career builder for her and monster as well today. Hopefully she can find a job she loves and keep it. She has so much experience that she gets hired without a prob. Its the whole keeping it thing she has the issue with. I know I've said I hate my mom a lot in this thing, keep in mind, I do hate her. When shes drunk. Sober she is amazing. I guess I should have made this disclaimer sooner.
So tomorrow is thursday and tomorrow night is Speakeasy night! WOOT. I sincerly look foward to it now. Live music, cold beer, free food and great friends. Tell me what is better then that in life? Nothing I tell you. Anyone in the NKY area whos interested in joining us..Speak Easy is off of buttermilk by where they're building the new mall. We usually are there at about 10pm. Come up! The more the merrier. Hopefully Terry will come tomorrow:)
