So last night was a great success for the world of piercing. I headed out of work and to Michelles, then to get Nicolette. Thus the adventure started. We made our way towards Clifton where I got turned around..and got us lost for a moment or...three. HEH..Either way, we finally found the place and come to realize it was right by the Void. Or at least where the void use to be. Ahh..so many good memories there. Anyhow, we get to the studio, they fill out the application and then we wait. And this is about the time I started to mess with Nicolette..hehe..and Michelle helped to!
Oh man..we had her going. I thought she was going to poo herself. We told her they do it with a hammer and nail. Or sometimes they cut the bellybutton in two, insert the jewerly and then sew it up. Oh man, the looks on her face..PRICELESS!!! So finally the piercer comes out, Clay, and they pick out their jewerly and we had back to the room. Keep in mind, the entire time, I'm messing with Nicolette. HEHE. Clay asked who wants to go first and I volunteered Nicolette right away. He went threw all the aftercare info with a few jokes here and there and Nicolette shaking the entire time. Finally the moment of truth! She lays down, the clamps are fitted, and out comes the needle! Meany head that I am is still messing with her, but she was a good sport. Deep breath in and it was done! She didn't scream or anything. I was way proud of her.
Clay did some cleaning and then Michelle hopped up on the table. She got her rook done, which isn't the easiest of things to get pierced, but it super cute. He starts explaining how it's done and how its a lil more painful then the other piercings shes had. Out come the clamps, deep breath and then...the needle. The look on her face was priceless! We have to start taking cameras with us! And then she bleed like a mug. HAH..Way to go champ:) The jewerly is in..more blood and jokes and then we're on our way. I must say that both piercings look great and fit the person.
After that, we went to Taco Bell! Seriously, it's sick how much I love that place. We ran into someone from high school. Caught up a lil bit and then headed back to the studio cause the girls didnt have cash to tip. So back we went, the tip was tipped and then we headed back to Michelles to hang out. The convo came up about how much Nicolette has done in the last 3 mos since breaking up with Adam and how much Michelle and I were behind it. Yeah..we're bad influences...hehe but we're fun! We talked about this weekend and how it should be fun. I talked to Rob and to Ariel:) for a lil while. So hopefully a trip to Louisville is in order soon as well.
Life generally right now is good. I have things to worry about and things I could bitch about, but right now it's not worth. No point to it whatsoever. I have the greatest friends, an interesting life and more fun then is humanly right. Life isn't good. It's great.
Luv,

EDIT: There are some things in life i dont understand. Like the need to use violence. The need to kill hundreds of innocent people who never caused harm to the cowards who do these evil things. I just cant wrap my mind around it and how someone could do this. How they can equate killing innocent human beings will make a difference in what the world leaders is going to do. It's not. Allow me to go into proud american mode for a second. They tried this shit when they knocked down our WTC and killed thousands of americans b/c our views were corrupt in their eyes. They attempted to knock on of the strongest economies and coutry on its ass and it can back to bite them in the ass. No, I am not a supporter of the war in Iraq and I refuse to start. What I am a supporter of is justice and that is hopefully what will happen to these people. When will people learn..war and terrorism doesn't determine who is right..it determines who is left.
My heart goes out to those who lost their life in this senseless act.
