ch 1
“Is he hot?” Koyama, Shige's best friend asked, when Shige was telling him about the person who moved in his neighborhood just a few days ago.
Shige tried not to roll his eyes. “Koyama!” he almost yelled, but remembering that they weren't alone, he said in a normal voice, “I’m telling you that my childhood friend is now my present time neighbor and all that you can say is ’is he hot?’ Gosh, Koyama, you're impossible!”
Koyama just smiled. ”But it's better, nee?”
“Better?! Like how?”
“Well, think about your previous neighbor,” Koyama said and looked worriedly at Shige and Shige turned to look away. “Isn't it better?” Koyama asked and Shige couldn't do anything else other than just nod. Both of them remembered what happened with Shige's previous neighbor.
“Okay let’s not talk about uneasy things anymore,” Koyama said after a few seconds. This is one of the reasons why Shige loved his best friend so much.
“Um, you're coming tonight?”
“I guess. That Tegoshi won’t let me take a pass. He was so determined about it,” Shige said as he remembered how important it was for the youngest to have them all there. “Can you come?”
Koyama pouted thoughtfully. “.... we'll see.”
Shige rolled his eyes, “Koyama, seriously. You know that Tegoshi will freak out if you don't come and we don't want to always stop him from doing it,” he said.
“It's not my fault that he can't handle my fiancé, you know,” Koyama snapped.
“I know and I didn't say anything like that, if you had been listening to me,” Shige answered and Koyama looked at him. ”Besides, it would not help if Tegoshi thinks that you're sulking and not wanting see anyone else other than your fiancé,” Shige continued. (Shige understood why Tegoshi didn't like Koyama's fiancé that much. There were a lot of things which those two could quarrel about. Shige really wondered if it's because their nature were pretty much the same. Well, it probably was something that they will never know. )
“I'm seeing you,” Koyama said, sounding hurt.
“And soon I’ll be the only one, who’d be left hanging out with you,” Shige said smartly.
Koyama was just nodding, while Shige knew that he made point clear for his best friend. “I'm trying my best to get there,” Koyama said and Shige smiled. “I'm not waiting anymore for you.”

“Nee, nee Shige-chan?” Tegoshi said when he was the only one left with Shige, since they both arrived too early. “Did you hear that Yamapi's friend has just moved here and since he doesn't know anyone around here, Yamapi wants to introduce him to us?” Tegoshi asked in a very cute voice, which actually irritated Shige off already. When Shige just shook his head, Tegoshi seemed to
realize that Shige didn't want to talk with him, so he remained silent for while and looked at the phone, pouting.
Just a few seconds later, the bar's door opened and there came the person, who seemed to make Tegoshi super happy at the moment.
“Massu, you came!” Tegoshi said smiling, as he ran towards the other. Massu looked at Tegoshi and smiled as brightly as Tegoshi.
“Of course, baby.”
Shige looked at the newcomer closer, and his eyes widened. Tegoshi noticed that and smiled even wider. “Shige, this is my new boyfriend, Masuda.” The guy, called by the name Masuda, bowed and Shige just nodded his head.
It just took a few minutes of Koyama coming, saying sorry for coming late, and Shige just smiled at him and said that even Yamapi hasn't come yet. Just as Koyama joined into their conversation, the door opened again.
“Sorry we're late!” Yamapi said as he opened the door. “It’s about time already!” Tegoshi said angrily and pouted. However, it was the person after Yamapi who actually got Shige's attention, and before he could think about what he was doing, he stood up. “What are you doing here?!”
When it registered on Shige’s mind what he had just done, everyone was staring at him. Ryo looked at Shige confused, but then smiled awkwardly. ”Oh, hi Shige.”
That caused that everyone to stare at Ryo this time. “You know him?” Yamapi asked surprised. Ryo nodded and Shige was sure that this evening will be one of his longest.

“Eh, you lived as neighbors?” all three said, except for Koyama of course, since he already knew about it. Since both of them nodded, they all looked at each other. “And now, you live as neighbors as well?” Again, another nod. Then everyone went silent, just staring at each other, disbelieving.
“Surely destiny hates me...” Shige murmured against his hand. Ryo glared at him, saying, “It’s not like that I actually moved there because you happened to live there.” Shige stared back at him.
”Maa maa,” Yamapi said and got the two to stop giving each other deadly stares, “... but Shige isn’t it better that we know you're safe?”
“Don't you start as well!” Shige snapped before Yamapi could say anything more and Yamapi looked at him, slightly worried. “You know what I mean by that. Even us will be relieved since we know that you’re neighbors,” Yamapi said and Shige just nodded shortly, since he really didn't want to talk about it.
Ryo blinked, looking at Shige at first, before looking back at Yamapi. “What do you mean?” he asked curiously. Also this Masuda seemed to look curious, since the others looked more like they were sick of it.
Yamapi looked at Shige first, but since the other didn't stop him, he told Ryo (and Masuda as well), what kind of neighbor Shige had and both of them gasped. “Oh, you are lucky that I'm your new neighbor.” Ryo said when Yamapi stopped telling the story of the creepy neighbor.
“I don't know what you're talking about,” Shige said simply.
“Well, I'm not taking some weird nude pics of you and sending them back to you.” Ryo snapped. “... have I done that?” he continued and stared at Shige, until the younger male looked at him.
“Well, no,” Shige said and Ryo looked pleased. “But you made me eat all kinds of weird stuff.”
“It's not practically my fault that you were that stupid,” Ryo answered and Shige stared at him.
“Eh?” Tegoshi said, not knowing if he should stare at Shige or Ryo. “Shige had been stupid?!”
Ryo looked confused, so Yamapi explained again. “This guy here,” he pointed at Shige, "was the one who helped us all, when we were still in school. He even knew my studies better than myself!”
”Wow,” Ryo said. “But I guess that he is too studious, anyway...”
”Can I hit you now?” Shige asked annoyed.
“I bet your fighting skills are as bad as they were when you still lived in Osaka,” Ryo said and even though Shige hated it, he could guess that he would lose to Ryo. Since he was bullied, he has actually learned how to fight a bit when he just moved to Tokyo.
However, Ryo was always the one who won all their fights (though Shige was sure that they were never fair), so Shige didn't even want to try and see if he could win against the other.

The conversation continued pretty smoothly, until Koyama said that he needed to leave and Shige immediately asked if he could leave with him.
“But you don't have to hurry to go somewhere else?” Koyama asked and Shige stared at him. Koyama said quietly, "Just kidding. Of course you can come with me.”
Shige took all his stuff with and was actually the one who needed to wait for Koyama. When Koyama finally seemed to be ready to go, Shige accidentally looked at Ryo who was staring at him with those dark eyes, which Shige remembered seeing somewhere else.
Shige pulled his eyes away from Ryo and shook his head. When he was out with Koyama and has walked a bit, Koyama asked him, “I hope that you're now avoiding him?”
Shige blinked at first, trying to figure out what Koyama meant, before he realized that it must be about Ryo. “No. How I can avoid someone, who lives as my neighbor?” he answered easily.
“But why did you leave with me then? I mean, you wouldn’t even be alone with him.” Koyama was curious. At first, Shige didn't even know how to answer to that, since he really didn't know why.
“I guess that he makes me feel too uncomfortable when I’m near him...” Shige said quietly and Koyama nodded, not questioning any more about Ryo.

Ending Comment: ... It took so long to update this. Tho, like my Heartbreaker-multichap's final, I had this finished in February, but betaing took a bit long, so I can post this just now.
And I kinda took Koyama's fiance & Tegomasu-pairing to this story. Tho, I don't know if I'm going to write about them in next chaps. Let's see what my brains can do for them. x3;;
