Long ago, people lived in peace, bathed in the warmth of light. Everyone loved the light. Then, people began to fight over it. They wanted the light for themselves. And darkness was born in their hearts. The darkness spread, swallowing the light and many people's hearts.
It covered everything, and the world disappeared.
A long time ago, there were no barriers between worlds. They could freely interact with each other, and people traveled between them as they pleased. The realm of darkness was separated from the realm of light, only mingling in small amounts. And watching over that separation were the Trinity Knights-those who wielded mysterious and magical weapons called Keyblades. And those special people who could wield these weapons, numerous in number, were growing concerned.
Mysterious creatures had begun to appear, with yellow cat-like eyes and blood as black as pitch. They were ravenous, and with their presence growing, the veil between the dark and the light began to contort and twist until tears appeared. It was a concern, one that the Grand Masters of the Knights began to cover up. But that doesn't mean people are easily misled and didn't notice something was wrong. While the Keyblades try to delicately take care of the new creatures, the people are beginning to catch on and organize their own efforts.
And then there are the whispers amongst the ranks of the Keyblades themselves, tales of an ancient and powerful secret kept hidden from even them by their leaders. The seeds of distrust are sown. Could it be that there is a war in the future of the Knights? And if so… Which side would you be on?
