Tsk, tsk, tsk - well campers, it would appear the party is in fact over in SD-1-land.  A note has finally been posted as to the status of the place - too bad there's still no explanation of what or why it happened.  The message is posted both on the SD-1 Update Journal, and on the Temp board.  The temp board also has a thread where you can post

I literally had to laugh out loud at this comment from the SD-1 Update Journal.

My answer to that? What was it...about 161 days? Seriously...I'm so annoyed with everyone going in and congratulating...well, I guess Jodi since she's the only one responding...for keeping things going for so long.

Hmmm...Blake, Sid and Amy ran it for many years (2002-2006), and never had this kind of garbage happen. The new crew takes over and it's gone in 6 months?

I can see how people might think that thanks are necessary for that, right?

Thanks for trashing a once great site with your lack of rules and lack of filters (except for banned screen names, that is).

Thanks for letting people see what you were truly like as the new regime...and for getting caught. It made it easier to see your true colors.

Thanks for never actually coming out and admitting that you did anything wrong in all of this, or even apologizing for your part in all of this. But I guess that would require admission, now wouldn't it? Funny how that action can speak volumes without actually saying anything at all.

Finally? Thanks for running a (formerly) great place completely into the ground. [Ending the sarcasm now.]

I just feel badly for anyone who doesn't pass muster and isn't approved on that "case by case basis" -- the hostage holding doesn't quite seem to be over yet now does it?
