Wow. Venus just broke Davenport's serve without dropping a point. Davenport didn't win a single point in her own service game. Beautiful. That's a purple patch.
Anyway, I'm currently listening to the A side of Roots' Too Cold. Quite a lethargic track. He has quite a quirky style but still sounds better than a dozen of Bruza's best lines. Heaven knows. That's not what I came to talk about that. Ladytron's Archigram remix wasn't amazing. It was more like a synthier extended version of the original. Playgroup's remix, though, was a genuinely good one. As was Ladytron's own 'M' Ladytronomy mix. I think Sugar's probably their weakest single to date, unless they released Cracked LCD, I can't remember. But those two versions, even more than Jagz Kooner's (which I still give major credit to for his Electrelane Film Music remix, which is possibly the best thing Electrelane have ever had their name on), definitely lift it.
Next up, The Go! Team, Sa Ra and Nightmares On Wax remix Too Cold. We'll see, eh.
