I've had my laptop for three years and three months now. The warranty period is three years. Thus, inevitably this is the time that things start breaking.

As with cars, there comes a time when you stop relying on the manufacturer to keep it new and shiny, you roll up your sleeves and open the bonnet...

Well, I'm using it now, so clearly it worked :p Even if I did have a few other tools, it's the threat of the wrench that made all the difference.

I use the same tactic ~ I put a 12lb sledgehammer in full view of the object I'm working on, just to ensure things go smoothly...

That said, I've often suspected that computer repairs would be best effected with a monkey-wrench!!

Your caption should be ~ "She doesn't sound good mate... prob'ly gunna cost ya!"

The only way to *really* clear the dust out is a vigorous beating with a large wrench. *everyone* knows that.
