My unit had a meeting giving out information on the events that have occured recently. One of the items was a US civilian, who was taken hostage, escaped from his captors and made it back to US control. I also see the story in the Stars and Stripes newpaper which means it is in every newspaper in the states. But what my unit didn't know is that he came to the hospital after escaping to recieve medical treatment for his wounds and that no information was to get out until they could investigate. They have made two arrests, the paper said. He took them back to the house he was being held at and the idiots were still there. He is there pictured on the paper, holding up his cast and the American flag. With a clean shave he actually looks a lot younger than he did. I am glad he is doing better and back home wit his family.
