I have been experimenting with hot cereal. This morning’s breakfast is going in my cookbook.

1/2 cup red quinoa
1/4 cup soy milk (or almond milk)
1/8 cup of chopped pecans
1/8 cup of raisins
2 Tbs chia seeds
2 Tbs hemp hearts
1 Tbs butter
  1. Cook quinoa according to package instructions (this usually takes 15 minutes).
  2. Add the next six ingredients and let simmer for 2-5 more minutes.
  3. Put in a bowl and add honey (or agave) and cream to taste.
