Living Quarters: now in IKEA colours!

What: Berwald has taken it upon himself to make the room a bit brighter and much more stylish.
When: Arrival. Some time in the morning?
Where: Room 203, East Wing

Sunlight filtered through the sheer drapery, illuminating the room in dusty brightness. The room, which had been in a dismal state of disuse and forgotteness, was now arranged with much more interesting colours-- a spot of gold here, a splash of navy there-- and now looked as if gentle care had been taken to procure a design that would be approved by professionals. The crisp corners and orderly lines directing the room were just the way Berwald liked them (or so he told himself), each curve designed by careful planning. To the outside eye, it was likely reminiscent of the landscapes of a wintry northern Europe: stylishly clean and immaculate and beautiful...

And cold.

Berwald gave himself a small nod of approval upon review of the room, then stepped to the window and watched the skies. It helped him forget about the room.
