Okay, I looked it up. According to our info, the black thing is "Venom." Its ooze can corrupt people, so Spiderman went temporarily kinda evil, hence the black.
And yes, Venom's an alien.
Oh, and apparently Sandman killed Spiderman's father-figure back when he was a standard criminal. More issues.
If there are a truly infinite number of universes, then fine, I suppose a given sequence of events is going to show up somewhere else as a work of fiction: but won't there also be a world where a superficially similar but completely different story was made into...
It depends on which multiversal theory you prescribe to. Spider-Man, for example, exists in many universes. In some he's real, in some he's got movies made about him, and in others he's in comic books. They're not all exactly the same person; they have different histories, different personalities. It's the same with me. I imagine there are many copies of you as well, Samus.
OK. So Spider-Man went 'temporarily kinda evil'? That's why he was being violent, the suit? Hm. Thought it was the other way around.
Oh, gimme a break. Coincidence indeed. Sandman's still a low-life thug. I don't care if he's sandblasted half of Midtown.
So if Osborn knew it was Peter all along... it'd make sense he wouldn't kill him, they were friends. But then, why was he using Green Goblin's suit and glider? Goblin's dead. How'd he get it?

...Wasn't it you who said Spider-Man's exploits were made into movies on your world?

That was me.

I personally have no idea which theory to follow- particularly since I haven't made it 'offworld' yet.
