this has been the day from hell...
From waking up to the torrential rains this morning in my lightless room to getting lost in my business suit and high heels to arriving late to the ACLU to finding I don't have a desk to finding that in six weeks I'll have a different supervisor when I specifically came to the ACLU to work for her to finding that the internet ate my private loan application to the ENORMOUS saga of trying to find an internet connection this afternoon to finding out NYLPI won't be sponsoring me for a fellowship to finding out that my would-be supervisor at the Alaska ACLU still hasn't sent me corrections to my last draft of our fellowship application ....
But it's getting better.
At least now I have internet access.
But it might get worse if I don't finish everything in the next two hours and get my butt back on the trains before the last one leaves. Damn DC.
I'm gonna send an invite to all of you either to my DC bday party or my NYC bday party or both. The former is on Tuesday of next week (the 12th), and the latter is Saturday the 16th. Location TBA.
Now to frantically finish my online judicial clerkship apps.
