Xena: Warrior Princess
So I'm wandering through You tube and come across some clips from the X:WP episode 'The Bitter Suite' and I remember why I loved this show so much.
It's corny as all hell. The fight scenes and special effects are less than realistic, their history is never quite accurate and some of the story lines are so out there that it's laughable but...
And it's a big but, it's all done on purpose, the writers never set out to be perfect they are telling a story about two strong, sassy, lovable and completely flawed women. Where at the end of the day not matter what friendship does mean something important and profound (no I'm not one of the X/G OTPers). My love of it has never waned (as you can see by my moods) just sort of been pushed the the back of other fannish exploits.
I find myself wanting to by them all on DVD.
