So our swim meets are OVERRRR...we killed renton, evergreen, and tyee in our final three meets, brings us to a record of 3 wins 4 losses...i think ive gotten slower. ARGH. o well, i hope i swim durin the summer. Finals are comin up and ohh man they look hard. Nothin too suprising though. HOpefully ill get good grades...

There was a protest in Seattle yesterday against the Bush Inauguration. I dont like having bush as president, but then again kerry wasnt that much better. So anyway the elections in Iraq are coming and yay peace after that blah blah who the crap are they kidding. Civil war will happen cuz blah blah the sunnis dont like who got elected they fight and guess what? Americans caught in the middle, they get killed, Bush says its for freedom, whatever. Unless somehow god himself comes down and says which religion is right then there will never be peace in Iraq. Plus, hey, if more Americans get killed, more chaos/destruction and Iraq, the insurgents are basically getting what they want.
And seriously, I dont really care. There's nothing i can do about it, and when its brought up at school, mormon girls kick it down and bring up how Democrats know nothing and are dirty beasts. They're my good friends, but they are really. really. naive. in politics and views on the world, at least. Bringing "freedom" and democracy to other countries where it hasnt been tolerated for so long is dangerous. very dangerous, and obviously bush doesnt see that. Change doesnt come to people easily. Some parts of the world, believe it or not, would collapse upon itself if it converted to democracy. I know more lives will be lost, more people will die, and Iraq will become a Vietnam, all over again. I don't believe that the american people can stomach death after death with no end in sight. Sooner or later, Bush will pull out covering it up with stupid stuff like "The Iraq People are free now" and leave the country to kill itself.
so thats my little 2 cents. My opinion.
