bathroom stories
once i sat on the toilet so long that my legs feel asleep, not because i had to go that long but because i was reading. when i tried to get up i fell down.
the only time i clearly remember ever being stung by anything was in the bathroom. i was 6 years old and a wasp flew in the window and stung my left thigh. i think i cried.
i've always had a hard time getting up in the mornings. in the 4th grade i used to turn the shower on and go to sleep on the bathroom floor using a towel for a blanket. sometimes i went to sleep in the shower. it always ended with mom yelling at me.
