I originally wanted to try making a voice post here, but it seems my mic (which is actually my webcam) is of very, very poor quality. The recording is echo-y and scratchy, and I'm pretty sure it would be cruel of me to make you listen to it. Still, it's a bummer. I spend all this time building up the courage - and when I finally have it, the universe tells me I'm not allowed. So, here's a regular, non-voice, un-meme-y post instead:

I like Sundays. I spend it on the couch, under a blanket, cradling a bowl of yogurt and watching shows. There's the new Dr Who, new SPN, new Community, new Game of Thrones. All freshly caught from the internet and ready to be enjoyed.

Today is 1st of May, which means yesterday was last of April. Which, around here at least, means Vappu. Copious drinking, loud music, milling crowds... It's like Christmas for students. Depending on your mood, it's either fantastic, or an apocalypse where the zombies all wear graduation hats and throw up a lot.

I woke up feeling generally cranky, and my mood got steadily worse as I realized that I was a day late in shopping for barbecue supplies and the stores had mostly been emptied out. Oh, and it was hailing. Not even rain. Hail. I was all set on sulking my way through the entire day - but for once my inability to stick to any sort of plan worked in my favor.

It was an overall very nice day. We got hold of a mini-bbq, the weather cleared up, I got to see almost everyone I'd hoped to, and I managed to drink in that proper, grown up way that means I don't have to be embarrassed about anything today. (Though I did run into a classmate with whom we thought it would be a good idea to try balancing half-full pints of cider on our heads. In retrospect, that could have ended badly.)

I went out for the first time in what feels like months, and it was a perfect mix of good music (because, yes, there is a club in my city that plays that, though I wouldn't mind if it were a little heavier) and good people. And I fit into a dress I've not had the confidence to wear in a long time. It has polka dots.

HE'S BACK! SO MUCH YAY! And... Cas. And... "baby in a trench coat" and "jefferson starships". And... YAY!

The last two episodes haven't been my favorite ever, so this one made me extra glad. The boys like each other again and Bobby was there and Cas got to do stuff, and Crowley.

I don't believe Eve is dead. She maybe got sent back somewhere, but she's not dead. You can't kill something that can block angel-mojo with a little bit of dust, that'd just be... lame. (I think there really ought to be more dragons on the show. They seemed like fun.)
