I keep forgetting I have one of these things.
Months later I'm still addicted to Left 4 Dead's Versus Mode. I can't think of any other game that has captivated me this bad. The multiplayer brings me back to the days of Goldeneye 007 and Mario Kart 64. Pretty much the best reason to be a X-Box gold member. For the amount of hours I spend playing this, I can't think of much else to add about it. Weird.
Not too much on the horizon of new games that grab my attention. Left 4 Dead 2 and Dead Rising 2 will be autobuys day one from me. I really enjoy these games so much that I don't want to wait for reviews. Pretty much everything else I will wait on. Bioshock 2 is a maybe, but I still need to finish Bioshock Classic first. I don't care for more war shooters. I downloaded the trials of TMNT Turtles in Time Reshelled and 'Splosion Man. Turtles felt like old hat. I was underwhelmed. 'Splosion Man was fun. I'm sitting on the fench about it. Shadow Complex keeps looking more awesomer everytime I see it. I wish I had a PS3 just for The Last Guardian.
There's actually a good handful of Wii games that I'm anticipating. New Super Mario Bros. Wii looks promising. 2d platforming with a Mario hasn't done me wrong yet. Also some time next year Mario Galaxy 2 will drop. And I will be happy for that. The Metroid Prime Trilogy is an awesome value that I should look into. Plus Metroid Other M has me feeling optimistic. There's also some third party stuff that has my interests namely Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom and Dead Space Extraction.
I still have my massive backlog to work through during the drought so I'm not going to be without something.
