Kay's been thoughtful and restless, since he suffered the effects of Molly Carpenter's spell. She stands, inclines her head, calmly. She's done some thinking of her own, but she will listen first. Perhaps miraculously, little Guinevere is slowly growing up.

"As you bid, Sir Kay," she replies, formal as he is, but not closed.

"Please, sit, my lady." Kay is never gentle, but he's quiet today. "I would offer you my apologies."

That surprises her - did he not apologize already? Nonetheless, she sits, then, and remains subdued.

"Whatever for, Sir Kay?" Her voice is quiet, kind, her demeanor attentive.

"It was not only my words that merited an apology, but my manner. I should not have been disrespectful, regardless of frustration."

The surprise continues. "Sir Kay, you have ever been a man of -- action -- rather than a man of words and manners, and ---" this is so strange. "-- but I forgive you, then."

"I suppose we should be grateful to whatever brought this change about," she replies quietly, seriously. Gentler, though, is her voice when she adds, "you must feel more at ease, then."

"Less chance of someone starving," which is not quite agreement. "Though I think we should stockpile non-magical food, just in case."

"Should the magic cabinet disappear again," she says, pondering her own words and Kay's. "It is prudent, and I would support you in this endeavor, if you will have my help, Sir Kay."
