"Garack'chin went to the shops and traded his Stickyfish paddle forto a pair of holographic glasses to give to Ha'barish. And Ha'barish went onto a different shop and traded his holographic movies to get a case forto hold Garack'chin's Stickyfish paddle. When they exchanged their gifts, all of Boov could feel that Garack'chin and Ha'barish were really--" And he made a sound like a chalkboard being scraped by a flock of ducks. / Or a gaggle of geese. / Oh, I thought, as if a light bulb had gone off. Oh. Absolutely fantastic epilogue to the book. ♥♥♥♥♥

Oh, Joshua... I love this look at him just meeting everyone, and how he fits in without trying, but even he's bewildered by the family at first. I love that it's Sandy who introduces him to the family, but that he's also training with Charles Wallace, even if he doesn't know it. ♥♥♥
