Two men were charged with retail theft and criminal conspiracy after Rochester police said they took cigarettes from an East Rochester convenience store Tuesday.
According to police reports, Jason Orkwis, 25, of 618 Mulberry St., Bridgewater, went into the GetGo on Route 65 and asked for three cartons of cigarettes, and when the clerk put them on the counter, he grabbed them and ran out of the store.
He was driven away from the store by Darren Finch, 30, of Pulaski Homes, Apartment 4, New Brighton, said.
The cigarettes were valued at $123.
