with all the bells and whistles
these get fewer and farther between. just a testament to the insanity that is life.
i just got home from playing a show, plagued with many technical difficulties and one over-exuberant fan, in philly. 12 hours ago, i left for that show. now, here i am, back at my apartment in brooklyn. i am very tired. but i felt the need to write something to remind myself that i am still alive.
i really like playing music though, so thank god for that.
our trip to michigan was pretty amazing. i got to see most of the people i love the most for a short but potent period of time. and i got to witness and participate in travis and cara's beautiful ceremony. the only downer: i lost my camera, so i can't post all the awesome pictures i took. beyond that and our mad dash to our nyc-bound plane, it was kind of the perfect trip.
anyway though, back in nyc and, i'm not gonna lie, it's a little rough. not because of nyc. just because of life. i'm struggling to hold onto my sanity. cross your fingers for me.
