It's strange to me as we pop like ping pong balls around the bare cream classroom telling our ultimate dream jobs, how few people have thought about it. Did they not daydream about it as children, or did they simply forget it as they have continued down the narrow and practical road to adultdom, or possibly worse, are they too embarrassed to speak words that are so "dreamy" everyone will laugh? I hoped that people would laugh (and they did) at mine I think, further fueling the enjoyment of my own absurdity in a world in which childish notions don't belong and I struggle to hold on to whatever sliver of the reality of my early years remains. One girls wants to design custom playhouses for children. Interesting. She doesn't look that imaginative, but what do I know. Maybe it's not as an imaginative a job as I think...or perhaps she's the most creative person i'll never actually know.
