Are we talking really big spider type creatures or ancient high dragon type creatures?

There haven't been any high dragons yet, thank the Maker. We're talking more on the order of Darkspawn and demons, if not the familiar sort. I've recognized precious few of the ones I've seen - it seems it's not just the sentient creatures here who aren't from Thedas.
