[He was still figuring out this silly tablet thing, but he'd figured out how to get it at least doing this much. He'll see the face on the screen, hear the voice which ISN'T Ezio's but... BUT THAT FACE. He knew Ezio was already here, met him, was with him in their own little underworld home probably. But still, this was kind of freakish how alike they looked.]

[The voice seemingly coming out of nowhere takes Desmond by surprise and only then does he remembers the touchpad device Charon gave him moments ago. He brings it up and promptly bites back a gasp. He knows that face, has seen it in Ezio's memories and knows that the man shouldn't be able to talk to him. He saw and remembers all too well the hanging that wiped out the Auditore men except for his ancestor, he still has nightmares about it.

Desmond coughs lightly, trying to hide his surprised expression. The question is not unexpected: it's impossible that Federico hasn't notice the resemblance.]
