I have been thinking of setting up a clinic for those who are sick and injured. [And since there are apparently no active Templars around here, it's safe to announce that:]

I already found a sizable empty building for it in the market area.

[Azi is always delighted to see people doing Good Work. A little extra credit with Upstairs never hurt, and he does enjoy helping these things along]

Is there anything I could do to help?

[Now that's a first. He didn't think there'd be people offering assistance. Darktown could've used more people like that.]

That's very kind of you. Are you a healer or herbalist?

[It's a bit risky, but the whole thing about different worlds does give him a bit of leeway. And if things don't work out, he can always just change Ander's memory of things]

You could say that, yes. Are you a doctor?

[And Justice can come in and punch him in the face. omg that would be the coolest vs match ever. HEAVEN OR HELLLL]

I know that doctor could mean several things in some worlds. I'm a healer, a mage. [Hrm. Maybe he should've said this in the initial post.] I do what I can with herbs and salves, but I also use magic.

[-considering I just got flashbacks to the Guilty Gear openings, I have to agree]

Would you mind if I ever saw this magic in action? Simply for curiosity's sake. If my understanding is correct, then what I use is something quite similar.

I am aware that magic doesn't doesn't exist in some worlds. Or if it does, it functions differently. [It's a lot to take in for this guy, really.]

As long as you don't slit your wrists and summon demons to help me carry patients around, I'm fine with it. [And yes, he's serious.]

As......appealing as the idea sounds, I'm not really one to associate with demons. [Crowley doesn't count]

That's good to know.

I am Anders, by the way. I don't think we've talked.

No, this would be the first time. It's a pleasure.

Tell me, do they believe in Heaven and Hell where you come from? Angels, demons, that sort of thing? It'll help me understand how different our two worlds may be. Or if they're the same, by some odd chance.

[Note to self: Send this guy a copy of your manifesto. YOU ASKED FOR IT AZI!]

In most parts where I come from, it is said that those who die and are worthy go to sit at the Maker's side. Others are doomed to wander aimlessly in the Void. We do not know that for sure, but demons and spirits are real. Some spirits are benevolent and aspire virtues such as Faith and Justice. According to the Chantry- the major religion in Thedas, spirits are the Maker's first children and are separated from the mortal world by the Veil.

[He doesn't want to go on ranting forever though. So he'd rather ask first.] ...sound familiar?

[...well, he does like reading large texts. He'll probably be amused, at the least?]

Not at all, actually. Some of the concepts appear similar, but I doubt our worlds share a resemblance, just from what you've described to me.

[Awesome. He gets to use his angel powers and nobody questions it. He's rather pleased with this]

[HEY. MY MANIFESTO IS SRS BUSINESS DUDE.]

There is more to it. I just explained a bit about the spirits and demons. I'm pretty sure the library here has a copy of the Chant of Light. It's known for putting people to sleep though.

[Humans are always so adorable with their manifestos. He'll add this one to his collection~]

If it's anything like our Bible, and I suspect that it is, then I'd be delighted to read it. That sort of read is always enjoyable for me.

[S-STOP BEING MOCKINGLY POLITE.]

Is it the usual story of a god abandoning his creations because they did something horribly wrong?

[No mocking here. Impossible to be evil and all~]

Not abandoning. He would never- I suppose He did cast them out, but that was more of a punishment. He's always been there for [wait now he's rambling] .....yes, something very close to that, if one is being simplistic.

[By the time Azi finds the copy of the Chant, he'll also find a copy of Anders' manifesto stuffed in there also. :I]

I did not mean to offend if I did. It's just that the people of the Chantry twisted the words of Andraste- the Maker's bride, to oppress my kind.
