It wasn't that hard to get lost in a city like this. Handy, since getting lost was precisely what Cloud was looking to do. Nothing made any sense--nothing about this place. Land of the Dead only he wasn't, Sephiroth not out to kill him (again) and Zack...
Zack.
That was part that confused him the most. The rest of it he could buck up and accept. There had been a time once when the general wasn't entirely insane, and while this place wasn't exactly hospitable, he'd seen worse. Only, now Zack wanted him dead and that wasn't...it was hard to say. The last time he'd "seen" him, he hadn't been so bent on revenge for something that, from what he could still remember, he hadn't been all that upset about when it happened.
Maybe he was inventing memories again.
He ducked into a random building--empty, thankfully--wishing for a moment that he'd thought to ask that crazy girl for Fenrir back, but hiding was the best he coud do. He had his doubts about how well he'd do against Zack, even if he had been inclined to fight with him. As it was, he didn't know that he could.
