Following a deeply troubling conversation with Bobby, Ellen made a point of seeking out Castiel in the library. She wanted this to happen away from the Roadhouse, and away from Dean, should he happen by the bar (even if she’d only rarely seen him since his return). His suspicions about Castiel were, in her mind, unfounded. Both Winchester boys were walking, talking evidence that no one was fated to do anything, regardless of predictions or what had already happened for some.
Hopefully Bobby and Sam would be able to dissuade Dean from his current mindset.
She rounded the corner, catching sight of a familiar trenchcoat near one of the stacks of books. “Catching up on some light reading?”
