Spring cleaning
Yeah, the itch has set in. I tackled my studio with some help, and it's now amazingly clean and almost frighteningly organized. I can find stuff! O.o Also midway through finishing doing the same to the guest room, which has up until now been 'art storage room'. I have far too many art supplies. :p But I'm trying very hard to break myself of the pack-rat habit when it comes to art supplies, so, there's progress at least. By the end of today my goal is to be done with all the cleaning/packing/getting stuff ready to go to goodwill. Have to stop by Lowes today, so I might peek at their Oops paint and see if there's any nice color that would work for that room. The goal is by end of next week to have the entire room painted, the futon moved in, and the room ready for friends to crash overnight if need be. A functional guest room? Decadence! ^_^
Also finished Anime Boston, and have finally gotten everything unpacked and put away. Conventions are a lot of fun, but also a ton of work! I need to sit down at some point this week and decide what pieces I'm going to want to bring to AC this year. I have a few ideas, I just need to get organized and set myself some goals to get things done. It seems I work better with a list of "Yup, this one's done. On to the next thing!" Helps keep my scatterbrain less scattered. ;3
And now, on to more cleaning. I will have that room done before the end of the day!
