the most boring thing I will ever post
I sit here watching dateline with my parents and grandma and stone phillips. I am cynical. About dateline and my family. I don't want to be boring, it's a challenge. During the commercial break someone tells a story I've heard 3-4 times. Someone is about to ask me a question, curious about how my experience may add to the conversation. Another story from another person, heard again. I think I might be sick. But then dateline comes back on, and they stop talking. I make myself another drink. So does everyone else. It's eight now. But I only have one cigarette left.
